COMJOB TITLE: Inside Sales Account ManagerBRIEF DESCRIPTON: Enhance Outside Sales Account Manager's effectiveness by providing information management support; Representing the manager to others; Maintain and increase business with house accounts; Obtain new business.JOB DUTIES:1. Conserves Outside Sales Account Manager?s time by receiving, confirming, and entering purchase orders; providing customer service including but not limited to providing tracking information, tracking current order status, checking stock status, providing basic product information, trouble shoot unforeseen problems and suggest solutions; reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting e-mails and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications2. Maintain and enhance business relationships with current customers as well as seek ways to obtain new customers by identifying and contacting all decision makers, identifying and presenting new product opportunities and ensuring service excellence for every client interface 3. Assists Account in planning and scheduling meetings and travel.4. Provide accurate, complete, and timely updates, when required 5. Make business development calls to current and new customers6. Represents the Outside Sales Account Manager by attending meetings in the Account Manager's absence; speaking for the Account Manager7. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist customers during their evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, co-ordinate with channel partners, and close sales8. Occasional traveling may be required9. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics10. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.11. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.12. Prepares and submits accurate and timely reports by collecting and analyzing information.13. Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.14. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.15.
